Cecil County needed educational materials that would help residents understand skin cancer risks, prevention, and early detection in a way that felt relevant to their community. I created an illustrated course that explained UV exposure, skin cancer types, prevention strategies, and when to see a doctor using clear, approachable visual narratives. The illustrations made medical information feel less clinical and more actionable, helping a diverse local audience understand how to protect themselves and their families. This project demonstrated how public health education can reach broader audiences when complex medical information is translated into warm, accessible visual storytelling.
